Barista brewing coffee at the TCE roastery

The Caffeine Experience · Coffee

Beans of
the world

Specialty single-origin arabica from the world’s three great coffee belts — roasted in small batches at our Maxwell Road roastery in Singapore.

Why single origin

One bean. One farm. One story at a time.

Blends hide flaws; single origins reveal character. Every lot is traceable to one region, farm or co-op — so you taste exactly where it grew, and the people who grew it are paid fairly for their craft.

  • 100% specialty arabica
  • Roasted weekly at 45 Maxwell Road
  • Shipped within 14 days of roast
  • Single-origin, traceable lots

Origins

The world in a coffee bean.

Origin is where coffee grows — one of the most important things about any cup. Explore the three belts, and the beans we draw from each.

  • Hot water being poured
    98%

Of a brewed cup is water — so we mind our recipes.

The roast

Coaxing flavour, not forcing it.

Our drum at Maxwell Road runs four times a week, keeping every bag within two weeks of roast. Three stages turn a green seed into the cup you love.

  1. Whole coffee beans early in the roast
    01

    Drying

Moisture leaves the green bean over the first minutes — the foundation for an even roast.

  2. Coffee beans browning in the roasting pan
    02

    Maillard

Sugars and amino acids brown together, building body, sweetness and aroma.

  3. Roasted coffee beans dropping at first crack
    03

    First crack & drop

The bean cracks audibly; we judge the exact second to drop for the profile we want.
