By Him All Things Consist
I once believed I was the one holding my world together — building businesses, accumulating wealth, asserting control. Then it collapsed: bankruptcy, divorce, four stints in prison. And still, something held. Not something — Someone.
Paul declares that in Christ, all things consist. Not a cosmic force, but a Person — the same One who orchestrates sunrises, pulls ocean tides, and wept at Lazarus’s tomb. He was before my worst chapter. He is already inside The Gateway’s opening in July. He holds every Restarter’s unravelling story within His sovereign grip.
Walking Changi’s corridors for Crossroads, I see men whose worlds lie in fragments. I tell them: He reconciled “all things” through the cross (v. 20). Not some things. All. Including you.
What holds TCE together was never my vision. It is always His.
