Daily Devotion · The Caffeine Experience
“Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal faithfully are His delight.”
Proverbs 12:22 NASB95
In the cafe trade, every cup is a small covenant. We promise a Restarter a second chance. We promise the guest a fair brew. We promise our funders that their gift will steward lives, not line pockets.
In Changi I learned how quickly deceit unravels a soul. Now at The Gateway, with rent set far below market by Jonathan Eu’s grace, I feel the holy weight of being trusted — by Siew Yeun, by every Restarter watching whether I keep my word. Integrity is not glamour. It is the quiet faithfulness the Lord delights in. Even when no one else sees, He does. And His delight is enough.
Prayer: Father, let my lips speak truth and my hands deal faithfully. May TCE be known for integrity before it is ever known for coffee. Amen.
Soli Deo Gloria
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NASB95)
